compensation: $12-13 an hour
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•The Key Holder Sales Associate is given keys to the store and codes to disarm and activate the store alarm system. This position also has access the safe in order to prepare the store for the business day and to complete closing procedures.
•The Key Holder Sales Associate may be required to take the deposit to the bank before the store opens, and if necessary get change.
•As the first person to enter the store in the morning, the Key Holder Sales Associate may be required to complete any maintenance tasks left from the previous day as needed.
•At closing, the Key Holder Sales Associate completes all settlements for the day's business, including credit card reconciliation, closing reporting, and preparing the bank deposit. As the closing staff member, this individual also ensures that all store maintenance is completed, including removing trash, straightening racks, and other general cleaning tasks as needed.
•In the role of Sales Associate, this position assumes a friendly and outgoing customer service role, adhering to our Non-Negotiable Standards of Customer Service which include: The Greet; Fitting Room Add-ons; Shoe Add-ons; giving Features and Benefits of products; Offering UA Advantages; using the Customer's Name; and saying Thank You.
•Daily tasks as Sales Associate include asking questions to determine customers' needs and assisting them in finding products that match their needs; answering questions about products and services; processing payments and recording transactions in a POS system. Daily responsibilities include checking email, counting cash, processing credit and debit card sales and returns; processing gift card purchases and purchases made with traveler's checks; accepting discount coupons; providing receipts and giving customers change, if necessary.
•Key Holder Sales Associate performs other tasks, as assigned; marking sale/clearance prices; preparing displays and basic cleaning duties. Employees in this position are reliable self-starters and team players that are able to handle multiple priorities effectively. This position is required to follow all company policies and procedures.
•Basic computer literacy using Windows operating systems and sending emails (training on internal POS will be provided)

•While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee is frequently required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, ability to adjust focus and ability to identify and distinguish colors.
•The retail stores are subject to moderate noise due to customer traffic and the use of computers and printers.
•Sales Associates will be working with computer equipment daily and may be required to plug and unplug appliances and computer equipment.
•Sales Associates may occasionally work outside for brief periods of time assisting management or customers in transferring boxes to and from vehicles for transportation.
•For special occasions, Sales Associates may work a 'traveling store' event, where merchandise is sold at an area hospital, office or other facility.
•Must be a 18 years of age or older and have a High School Diploma or GED
•Minimum 1 to 2 years of retail sales or related experience
•An average 1 year tenure in previous jobs (qualified students are exempt from this requirement)
