I doubt you will ever find a cleaner more pristine Yamaha 8hp 2 stroke. This is a shirt shaft, and one of the BEST DINGY MOTORS EVER MADE, period. Very desirable and hard to find in this condition. Its basically a new motor. These are super tough and dependable and easy to work on. Lightweight only 58 lbs.! ITS IN PRISTINE CONDITION - See pictures. Completely rebuilt drive including; prop shaft, bearings, bushings, upper and lower carriers, seals, shifter boot, complete new water pump Yamaha OEM parts, I have pictures of all work in progress. Ready to go, New sparks, rebuilt carburetor and fuel pump. NEW 8.5 x 8.5 propeller. Perfect compression @ 115.6 & 116.4. Higher than 118psi is NOT better, that's what they are new, higher compression means they have carbon build up!
