14 foot skiff with 20hp 4-stroke Mercury tiller motor. Comes with trailer that’s been recently overhauled so everything works. Title for boat and title for trailer both in my name and in hand, clean. This was a project boat for me and my kids to learn on so it’s been recently painted and we added lots of features like stainless steel cleats and hinges, elec bilge pump with float switch, rod holders, fishing platform, and storage area. We had plans to add the console shown in the pics but that’s where we stopped so the console is just sitting there in the pics, it’s not hooked up, but you can have it if you’d like. Trailer has brand new cross member, lots of tread on the tires, axle and bearings have been well greased and maintained, spare tire attached to frame is in excellent condition. I just ran new trailer lights and electrical lines so all lights work. The trolling motor on the bow of the boat runs off a deep cycle marine battery that I charge back up when it’s parked next to my house. Makes a perfect budget starter boat. Mercury motor has been excellently maintained with a fresh oil change, lower unit oil change, zero prop damage, and comes with a 5 gal fuel tank. We’ve only ever run rec 90 thru it so no gunk or gel from ethanol gas clogging up the fuel system or injectors. Motor fires up on first pull with a proper prime. I’ve kept it under the umbrella as seen in the pic to keep the sun from beating it up too much. Motor barely sips gas and is incredibly fuel efficient. I could get 2 adults and 2 children up to 17mph trimmed correctly. Whole package is yours for the right offer. The motor alone is worth $2k so please don’t bother inboxing me with ridiculously low offers. I’ll consider anything fair but please don’t ask me to take payments or any plainly dumb low offers.
This skiff is super fun and I’ve had it anywhere between Marvin and American Shoal lighthouse on a calm day. It’s very capable, reliable, and can be refitted easily to suit your needs.
I work on the water so I’m terrible about answering my phone so email is the best way to get in touch with me.
We aren’t desperate for the money, just tired of paying for storage.
