favorite this post Animal rescuer, needs info about the Keys/pet friendly places/rv parks (Up north) hide this posting unhide

Hello,

I've been doing animal rescue since the early 2000's. I snowballed and next thing you know I was locked down caring for multiple dogs and cats. I am down to a manageable number of dogs, 2. I bought a rv and I plan to travel a little in the next couple of week. I'm thinking of going to the Keys since I've never been there and I'd like to stay on the east coast for the first trip with a RV. I will be taking my 2 dogs with me, and have someone caring for the cats at home.

I'd like a little help if anyone can give me some info? Is there a low cost place to park a rv there ? That will allow dogs ? I don't know much about rv's honestly. I'm kinda flying by the seat of my pants on this. I've been looking for one for almost a year now and finally found a good deal on one. I haven't been on a vacation since about 2001 or so when I first started taking in dogs. So I'm excited but at the same time a little apprehensive traveling with the dogs for the first time.

Any help/ info would be greatly appreciated. Maybe some pet friendly area's down there ? Any tips on anything would be great !

Thank you in advance !
