I am an entomologist, searching for a wild population of Blaberus Cranifer aka Deaths Head Roaches. They have black wings and are the largest roach species in North America but have only been found in Key West. They were once common in Key west but their habitat has disappeared over the past couple of decades. I am hoping they are still out there, If you know where to find some send me a picture or video and I will drive down the same day to document them and collect a few individuals for captive breeding. and of course to pay the finders fee. They like to hide in leaf litter or old or rotting wood and could be in any wooded area or even in residential yards. I know they were once common near the shipwreck museum.
