Part time personnel needed about 8 hours per week for some limited customer interaction (occasionally by phone or dockside), light equipment maintenance, organizing files or supplies, picking up supplies, deep cleaning and light repair of boats (not engine work) or dockside area or equipment. Boat repair limited to speakers, bilge, fuse - switch - or lights replacement and other basic tasks that need a screwdriver, glue, scrub brush, a wax buffer, and common sense, among other things. Significant experience driving boats is required, as there may be occasional need to trailer boats, get gas, etc within a couple of miles.
Somewhat flexible days or hours but must be available at least Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday by phone in the mornings and in-person when required. You must already have housing in or next to Islamorada, FL to apply.
You must have great, friendly communication skills in person, by phone, and by text. Criminal background check must be clean for the past 10 years.
Must have working phone with calendar
Must have Boat driving and trailering skills
Must have reliable transportation to arrive on-time and run errands, when required
Must have valid drivers license
Must have clean criminal record for past 10 years
Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be able to arrive on-time (according to agreed hours that week) and arriving within 30 minutes of emergency calls (until 2pm) is required on agreed days of the week.
