If kayaking sounds more fun than sitting behind a desk, we’d love to meet you! We’re looking for an energetic, reliable team member to help create great experiences for our guests while keeping our kayak operation running smoothly at the iconic Robbie's of Islamorada marina, one of the most well-known waterfront destinations in the Keys.
What You’ll Do:
Help guests get on the water by moving and launching kayaks
Clean and maintain equipment, including kayaks, PFDs, and merchandise
Give guests a friendly safety briefing and basic paddling orientation
Share local paddling routes and points of interest
Fit guests for kayaks and life jackets
Answer guest questions in person and by phone
Enter bookings into our reservation system
Make sure waivers and paperwork are completed correctly
Handle cash and credit card transactions
Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming work environment
Follow and enforce safety procedures to ensure every guest has a great experience
What We’re Looking For:
Valid driver’s license
Able to lift at least 50 lbs
Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
Available for flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Friendly, confident communication skills
Ability to stay professional and positive with guests and teammates
Open to learning and earning field-related certifications
